"Smartex Final Conference" marked the conclusion of the SMARTEX project, which has successfully continued for the past three and a half years since the end of 2019. It is also important to note that the project struggled during the COVID-19 global pandemic, which lasted for almost the whole project's duration. There was battle on its ups and downs, difficult communication dynamics, and any other unique conditions during this time, but it has finally made it to this final event.
Final SMARTEX (‘Smart textiles - Modernisation of curriculum of Textile Engineering and Textile Technology in Indonesia, Malaysia and Pakistan’) project Conference is conducted on 4/7/2023 in Bandung - Indonesia. Participants from UNIWA as from UPV and UGHENT participate to the event, which was organized by Polyteknik STTT. The SMARTEX FINAL Conference covers all areas of SMART Textiles.
This June we have a symposium from partner P6 (UTHM) with the event name MechyTech Day 2023. The following are the activities that have been conducted :
The Symposium on Modernization of Curriculum of Textile Engineering and Textile Technology in Indonesia, Malaysia and Pakistan took place on the 24th of May 2023 at Bahauddin Zakariya University College of Textile Engineering Multan. It was attained by more than two hundred participants from different backgrounds including academia and industry. The presentations were given by experts from Indonesia, Malaysia and Pakistan followed panel discussion and Q&A session. It was a day filled with insightful discussions, captivating presentations, and valuable networking opportunities, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of attendees.
This training event organized by the University of West Attica (UNIWA – project coordinator) and it took place at the premises of University of West Attica during 26-29/4/2023.
